My name is Cesar Gil, and I am creating this website for one purpose. There is another Cesar Gil in Houston that ranks above me lol. I’d like to be the first Cesar Gil Houston search result, but I digress! I figure this is also a good time to create a landing page with some of my history as well as what I’m currently up to, so here we go:

I was born in New York, but raised in Houston, Texas. My family immigrated from Mexico, and are probably the best parents of all time. Growing up, I was super committed to playing soccer as well as other sports. Funny enough, I enjoyed the training just as much as I enjoyed the games. I always found that interesting. 

I graduated from the University of Houston. My degree was for Management Information Systems from the Bauer School of Business….which I did nothing with. Except….I did take a class in project management that showed us how to build a pretend website for a pretend client.

I figured that if that was how one would do it, that I would try it in the real world. I had some small success, but my lack of experience kept me from succeeding long term at that time.

Fast forward between that day and a bunch of odd marketing jobs, I eventually ended up starting my own digital marketing company called Symphony Advertising.

As of December 2023, we have helped 100’s of local businesses with their web design, local seo and google ads. Our main purpose is to drive more customers via the internet to these local service based businesses, which is who we primarily work with.

So far, it has been great. However, I do see some changes in our near future. Digital marketing helps companies get more customers. But the issue is that a lot of the times, that isn’t the only issue businesses have. Even if you solve for not having enough customers, then new issues arrive such as how to service a scaled up flow of leads, how to hire, how to schedule, how to update pricing, how to update branding etc. I plan on updating our core services to include business strategy and consulting, as we have unintentionally been helping with these aspects of their business as well.
